Just cannae stands it...

Whats all the fuss about, yeah thats right new tees are in....and they look backyard banging. Please excuse the myspace pic of it, its just me in the office you know!

These will be instores next week, and are really tight on numbers....French's one looks the shit too. Happy hunting.

Doco yeah!

A friend just popped round with Document Mag, and it looks pretty loaded this month, photos of Paul, Tom, and an amazing contents photo of Eddie going towards 11'oclock.

Props go to Joe's pal Nev, apparently "he's an annoying c**t" but he sure does rep The Harmony with some steezles.

Thanks to the Slug Baron and all at Doco.

Fast times are the good times....

If you can imagine Eddie chatting to me about life in general, this first bit would of been the movie adaptation. Anyway here's what The Harmony christmas party should, I mean, will be like.

Having failed at his tryout for Swedish Pop Idol, Danijel thought his unique guitar stylings would suit Eddie's new band, the mighty, 'THRUST'.

Dan's still unsure if his rendition of 'Sweet Caroline' followed by a 'Bread' Medley was successful. We await Eddie and the bands response.

Our hopes are with you big guy.

"No, honest Dave, I've given up...."

As well as filming for our forthcoming crapper of film, Joe is also constructing a new piece with his pals at Note, constructed only with blood, masking tape and PVA glue.

'Kip it off' will be available soon, or at least when those bozo's get round to finishing it. Check Eddie's throw-aways from his throw-aways.

Cheers Morph.

They never do things by halves in Glasgow, as Jamie found out as he came too with a gash in his head after tumultous tempest of launch.

Yes thats right a book launch, man alive Jim take care of yerself, cause it seems everytime I see you, its a board in the head or a shiner here, or a split lip there.

You wouldn't believe the luck of one of mellowest guys on the team.

Danijel having just arrived back from Thailand, has been super busy working on various project's, he will also be flying over early December, to coincide with the launch of his first Pro Model ( See pic for early working drawing ).

The Harmony are also working on a secret project to celebrate the unholy union of Art and skateboarding....more on that soon.

Not the classic rap troop but a little sequence of Jose executing style with his feral fingers....cheers Jim

Its all shot on beautiful monochrome 8mm, before you ask where the HD version is, It's like skating in a Hitchcock intro, instead of inside Jerry Bruckheimer's brain!

( This players a bit touchy, I think you just press play and move the mouse away from it? )

I enclose our logo, it´s made by JJ Rudisill from N.Y. Check him out at our site."

The knives....

As an over affectionate paraody of skate crews and gangs like the Z-boys, Dirt Swan and of course the Osaka Daggers, recently myself and a pals have been recapturing the youthfulness of rolling with a small crew, and so out of an evening of boredom 'The Hythe Knives' were born. as a sort of. semi ironic piss take of a bunch 30 somethings still loving skateboarding.

Well what started as a bit of piss take has now become a bit of an obsession, so much so it given us a guise to do all sorts of stupid self indulgent crap, like edit video parts to 'Danzig'.

Anyway lets promote gang culture, by emailing me your crews at:

I want to build a nice collection for the blog, so send some shit photos or a logo made on 'Paintspa', I mean surely they can't be a lilly livered as us?

Toy town...

I always really liked this part....short and too the point.

Wednesday, November 08, 2006

Reading is good.

As well being a full time member of the legendary 'Uncle John and Whitelock', and the owner of some wizard feet, Jamie has found the time to scribe a wee book:

"'My Llama for a Dromedary' is a collaborative book by Scottish writer/musician Jamie Bolland and German visual artist Inga Streich, both of which live and work in Glasgow.

On the basis of fictional and real characters and stories 'My Llama for a Dromedary' is a journey through fragments of secular everyday life.

The constant switch between the two authors - and consequently their viewpoints as well as their adopted forms of expression in text and image - takes shape as a suggestive juxtaposition that encourages individual interpretation."

Nice work Jimmie, and please visit the Inga's site, and try and get hold of copy if your inclined.

You tube again....

This one is a long un, but its basically how skating should be. All your mates sessioning and getting amped.
