Steady thuggin'

We wanted to put out a skull t-shirt without you having to look like you bought it off the Pirate Mick's market stall enduring the inevitable flames from the mouth or motorbike print or in fact you were cohersed into buying some lame foil print on a black skinny fit by a jumped up sales person on Oxford street trying fuel your midlife crisis.

So for all those who listen to Sabbath instead of some emo whining crap, heres the tee for you. We also have a whole new selection of boards/wheels and other new shit just in time for christmas.

Hassle your stores, because at this time of year, they love it.

German Dancehall.

Jamie has been recovering of late from a broked rib, and then a reoccourence of said breaking, so he has been relaxing in the glow of his piano and his own thoughts.

I wonder if he knew that he had his own thread on a skateboard forum? I doubt it.

Photo stolen from said forum. OG Kickflip due to particle acceleration.

Hot dogs and cold ones.

With Sweden getting to grips with the winter, heres a couple of flicks from the recentish, 'Steppeside Massacre 3'. For those who don't know Pontus has pretty much heralded the DIY scene in Malmo by building the gnarliest mini bowl interlinking concrete monster you have ever seen, its fucking rad and its what its all about really, Bros, barbecues, concrete and cold ones. They had a little party, played the new movie about Jason Jessee and just got down with it. End of story.

Anyway Danijel 'The Jugga' Todorovic is off to Miami with the UK Nike heads so look out for that soon as well as the new video project by Pontus, which will redefine the over used term 'epic'.

Damn these photo make me want a frankfurter.

Tape to Tape

Just received this wee gem from Joe. An old promo from 1998-200 era. I think I even saw Joe smoking a fag while switch crooking ?

Danny's Chocolate Blocks

Danny Jack Recipe Corner Part.2

INGREDIENTS;

250g Dark Chocolate
250g Caster Sugar or Dark Muscavado Sugar
250g Butter
110g Plain Flour
1 tablespoon Baking Powder
1 pinch of Salt
3 Eggs
1 handful of un-salted Nuts (e.g Walnuts, Hazelnuts and Pecans)
Extra Chocolate Chunks are optional.

METHOD;

1. Preheat the oven to 170C, 325F or gas mark 3 and grease an oven proof dish or baking tray with butter.
2. Sit a bowl over a pan of boiling water and melt the Butter and Dark Chocolate in it. Be very careful not to get any water in the bowl.
3. Sieve the dry ingredients (Flour, Baking Powder and pinch of Salt) into a bowl.
4. Whisk the Eggs in a seperate mixing bowl and slowly stir in the Sugar. Beat in the melted Butter and Chocolate mixture and then gently fold in the dry ingredients.
5. Finally, stir in any Nuts or Chocolate Chunks and pour the mixture onto greased tray or dish and bake for approx 45 minutes.

To test if it's ready stick a knife in and if it comes out clean then it's done. Leave to cool for a few minutes then sit back, relax and treat yourself to a big slice of Brownie with a lovely cuppa tea.

Mail on Sunday ?

Be sure to check the new Sidewalk out, as our new recruit Tony Da Silva has a Working Class Hero article from his stint in Sweden.
Tony served his time as a paperboy to earn his keep, a far cry from the job in a Chinese Restaurant he has now.

Danny 'DJ Shittaste' Jack has a hot to trot sequence in the E's article too.

Wonderwall is shit really.

Joe and Tone are feeling in jubilent mood as despite the terrible weather, they are still getting shit done. Check over at Note for a retrospective in photos of both these Manc legends, and if you feel inclined catch up with Jim Walkers site for a recent overhaul.

Still no Med format though Jim, you suck.

Eddie pops up everywhere, here he is at the Death premiere of "Better than life", with old friends Carl and Chris.
