Mental like chicken Oriental
Below is the first in a line of recipes by our resident Harmony Chef 'Danny Jack'.
Bemused by the lack of cooking skills on recent tours/trips, Danny has decided that we should all get a few decent meals that we can prepare instead of beans on toast or 10p noodles.
Welcome to the 'Harmony Kitchen'! The first in a series of recipes is a 10 minute Thai Style Prawn Stir Fry!
Ingredients;
- diced chicken or cooked prawns
- mixed vegetables (we use sainsbury's stir fry vegetables for 75p)
- amoy straight to wok noodles
- 1 green or red chilli finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves finely chopped
- sunflower oil or veg oil
- salt and black pepper
sauces (worthwhile investing in for future stir fry's):
- soy sauce
- thai sweet chilli sauce
- lemon juice
- fish sauce
Method -
Start by marinating the prawns or chicken in a bit of olive oil, lemon juice and salt and pepper
you will need 1 large wok or frying pan.
1. Heat the wok until smoking
2. Add a spoon of veg oil and fry chilli and garlic for 1 minute
(if using chicken add at this stage and seal)
3. Add the vegetables and stir fry for about 4-5minutes
4. Add the prawns and heat through
5. Liberally add the soy sauce, sweet chilli, some lemon juice, a bit of the fish sauce(this is potent stuff!) and salt and pepper
6. Finally add the noodles to the mix and heat through. Serve immediately
This should take about 10 minutes in total and all done in one pan.

"I'm like fucking Gino me..."
Putting all "Conspiracy" theory aside, We met up with, the lost but not forgotton, Thomas Harrison yesterday at the prestigious Nike SB hoohah. By all means people can speculate all they like, but we're all still pals, as at the end of the day its skateboarding. Like everything else there will always been differences and there always be opinion. Such is life.
Anyway Tom's doing good, and we wish him all the luck, if only he could get the tying his laces thing down he would be all set.
Our lad, Danijel was there representing with a big Swedish entourage, and all the other usual faces that these type of things bring. My eyes are still stinging so its back to a dark room with a cold flannel for me.
Good to see you all.

Hold tight indeed.
( Jim, sorry I nicked this pic, but Jak is illusive, and illustrating this post with a picture of you just wouldn't work? )

Sunday Bloody Sunday
Check out the latest Sidewalk Sunday Service mail out below, then go HERE for the Wolfstadt Silver Screen article. After that go tell all your friends and enemy's to buy our DVD. Everyone needs a good deed for the day ?
"The above sequence is taken from The Harmonys first ever outing to Valencia, way back in February 2005. The team at the time consisted of Paul Silvester, Danny Jack, Adam Howe, Jak Pietryga, Eddie Belvedere and Danijel Todorovic, with Frank Stevens tagging along as an official guest. Before been picked up by The Harmony, Danijel had been keeping himself under the radar, so to speak, riding for UK based outfit Minute up until there demise at the end of 2004. Having had only a handful of photos in Sidewalk and little video footage outside of Sweden, his name was recognisable, though his skating was still relatively unknown. When the article on this trip came out in issue 103 (April 05), and the promo DVD of the trip was sent to shops shortly after, Danijel soon became known as the "stylish Swedish guy with massive pop", a reputation that only grew with the release of "Once Upon a Time" in late 2005, and more recently, "Wolfstadt", which was finally put on sale last month.
And "Wolfstadt" is the reason that you are reading this today! As some of you will already know, over on www.sidewalkmag.com we've started running web-exclusive weekly interviews, as well as constantly updated news, video clips and photo gallery, exclusive features and archived mag content. If you head over to the Interviews section on www.sidewalkmag.com now, you'll be able to catch the second of our Online Silverscreen articles, where The Harmonys Adam Mondon and David Dixon give us the lowdown on "Wolfstadt". Whilst you're there, be sure to read our chat with Concrete Poets mastermind, Henry Edwards-Wood, about his latest release Writers Block."
